As much as we try to avoid them, technological malfunctions or 
'Glitches', are all around us. We are surprisingly drawn to them as they allow us to engage with technology in its own language. 
Glitch Art is an artistic practice that adopts digital or analog errors for aesthetics purposes, through the alteration, or physical manipulation of digital data and electronic devices.
This article deals with technological malfunctions in the field of visual art and design, and with their expression in Glitch Art.
